           Description

AllMag^TM Multifunctional Magnetic Separator (MS-12) is a multifunctional magnetic separator made from an injection molded plastic housing incorporating a high-energy neodymium-iron-boron [Nd-Fe-B] magnet. AllMag^TM MS-12 is designed to accommodate standard microtubes (1.5ml, 2ml, 15ml or 50ml) for a complete range of magnetic separation applications, including cell sorting, mRNA and DNA isolation, and purification of biomolecules. Once the microtubes are placed in the tube holders, the magnetic nanoparticles are pulled to the side of the unit to complete a separation in less than one minute. Upon completion of the separation, the supernatant may be aspirated, leaving the magnetic nanoparticles as a pellet on the side of the tube. Also, if you remove the magnet, the stand can be used for a common microtube stand.
